Founded in 1995, Hawkins Institute is a private company registered with the Ontario Disability Supports Program/Employment Supports (ODSP/ES).
Through innovative programs, Hawkins Institute offers practical employment counsel, training and placement for people with Asperger Syndrome (AS) and Learning Disabilities (LD); fostering self-esteem and promise for the future.
A pioneer in its niche, Hawkins Institute is known internationally for its employment services for people with Asperger Syndrome (AS) and Learning Disabilities (LD).
Having identified demand for employment assessment, training and placement among an underserved population, we create and implement specialized programs and support services to address the need. Evolving since 1995, the Company has expanded its services to include private consultation and training in the areas of transit training, interview preparation, employment counselling and employer sensitivity training.
